1 Peter 5:6-7 ESV Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Anxiety and worry are a beast! And are of the beast! Remember that. As this scripture says, cast your cares on Him because He cares for you! What are your prayers like? Do they contain a lot of formal language and the like? Honestly, when you talk to your Father come to Him and confide in Him like you do your best wordly friend. Talk, share, listen, and receive what He has to say to you. It does not always have to happen on your knees by your bed like we are taught when we are little. Get with God in your car, at the park, in the grocery store, when yo hare faced with a really irritating individual, wherever the spirit moves you or you feel the need for some guidance. Dont forget to listen as well. You cant receive if you dont listen as well as you talk. Take some time to focus on you prayer life ti really really can impact your spirit and your day! Father continue to guide me into closer relationship with you, and help me grow in your ways!
