Sales Engineer Job Role Summary: The Sales Engineer is responsible for selling low current solutions that require technical knowledge in order to interpret customer requirements and to determine the solutions that best meet those requirements. In this role, you will solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. Responsibilities: Be responsible for selling security, safety, automation, audio/video, energy saving, and data/voice solutions & services. ü Networks within the assigned industry market sector to develop new business ü Prepare and make technical sales presentations focusing on value to customer ü Prepare weekly reports and monitor dates in accordance to actual customer requirements. ü Participate in regularly scheduled meetings. ü Provide input and assistance to other functional areas in order to improve processes and customer satisfaction levels. ü Keep abreast of new products, specifications and industry trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses and communicates new information to colleagues. ü Assist with training and mentoring of new hires or less experienced Sales Engineers, as needed. ]Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering from an accredited university • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales. • Highly result orientated with a strong drive to deliver/succeed. • Advance computer skills. • Strong mathematical skills and reasoning ability. • Solid presentation skills. • Strong creative problem solving skills. • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. • Good organizational and time management skills. • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
