1 Samuel 30:1 And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire; 1Sm 30:2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way. 1Sm 30:3 So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives. 1Sm 30:4 Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep. 1Sm 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. Thse guys found their investment shattered, their dreamss wrecked, they were already tired of the journey, then they bad to weep, till they dont habe strength to weep. Now it was double trouble for David, his wives and childn were also taken,he had wept also,as if not enough, the pple wanted to stone him.not something new, everytime anything goes wrong ppl want to stone and replace tne leader.he was left lonely. He was alone against the loss of his family and against his followers who wanted to stone him. But he went beyond the natural,he ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD. And the Lord told him to pursue in order to recover. To catch what is running from you,you need double the speed, to defeat what has attacked you you need double the strength. Supernatural strength and abilities only come when you can encourage yourself. And in the Lord. All what you have lost will be restored. But also be able to identify what is it you lost, you want recovered.when you know tht you can hack into the system of God,and energize yourself. Thats operating beyond faith.
