1 September, the start of Autumn, three weeks plus since returning from K2 of some great rest and recuperation, little training, even less Facebook and zero throwing ice over my head (yet). Thus time to return to getting super fit again – and work. As many people ask me what I actually do, some indeed whether I do anything, for interest the breakdown of my deliverables is approx: 30% expedition prep and execution, 30% keynote speaking, 30% corporate leadership/team development coaching plus some executive coaching, 10% other – including writing, schools, MC work, causes and campaign work/speaking/writing and not forgetting the occasional singing and guitar in a rock band. :) Most of these are anywhere in the world – a lot of time is spent on my former company’s aircraft – and, like many, I generally actually work my butt off. Whatever, it’s always useful to remind oneself of a powerful mantra to live by: ‘We create our own lives’. adrianhayes
