1. Support Al Qaeda while using Al Qaeda as an excuse to obliterate the rights of American citizens. Check. 2. Build a ginormous economy on the incomparably shifting sand of fiat currency (money out of thin air) so that the folks at the top (the ruling corporate/political elite) can literally just print it out of nowhere and the folks at or near the bottom (slaves) have to run faster and faster on the wheel of corporate assigned duty in order to stay alive. Check. 3. Manipulate the minds of the slaves so that they actually adore, defend, and fight for their bondage. Check. 4. Build a gigantic military industrial complex and fuel perpetual wars - wars that could *never* be waged if forced to be financed by *real* money - by running more and more and more paper through the fiat currency presses. Check. 5. But first, finally, and at all points in between, secure the minds of children for the state through state-controlled, explicitly Christ-less compulsory education. This is the Christ-less key to it all...and this is *exactly* what most professing Christians in America have been discipled by the state to adore, defend, and fight for. (See: point 3 above.) So it is that professing Christians - quick to point to those other people - are, in fact, and in accordance with all of human history as recorded in the Word, the first and most responsible for the current implosion of American culture. Until and unless we as Christians are broken by our rebellion and repent of our open violation of the Word of God where the critical, culture shaping matter of childrens education is concerned, our rants and howls about how those people are wrecking the country are comical, tragic, and comically tragic all at once. If Gods people would stand on the Word rather than the with the world where the education of their children was concerned, we wouldnt be on the verge of watching the great American experiment end in a pile of smoking, Sodom-esque rubble. The looming death of America is first and foremost on us...not on them. So...who will be discipling your child today?
