Football is about winning games... Regardless... Football is truly about winning games, regardless of whatever one feels about how the game is played or performance of teams. The Harambee Stars were not easy on the eye over two legs versus the Comoros but they got the job done. They are in the second round of qualification to Morocco 2015. Now, purists will say that we have very many good players who should ensure we roll over the likes of the Comoros with ease, but as we have learnt this week, the game is not as straightforward as some would make it look like. You have seen the likes of Uganda getting real scares and we all thought Liberia would beat Lesotho. But it did not happen. Not to mean that we should not make changes. In my view, the Stars should move forward and ensure that they prepare better this time and by better, I mean they should play some friendly matches. All the international players are currently on break and at home, so the national team should take advantage. We have six weeks before we travel to southern Africa. Let us take advantage of that in every way. The team lacks cohesion and as long as we can provide that, there should be no reason why we should not play better versus Lesotho. That said, I would take an ugly win over Lesotho, as long as we progress.
