Friends, Join me in the movement to stop bullets from flying in low-income and impoverished communities! We are here at Microsofts headquarters making history...literally!!!! Our goal is to increase the number of people who come from impoverished backgrounds, ethnic minorities and women in the tech sector! Microsoft has agreed to be the first big company to go public and help us do so. We are working on a strategy to bring many of the other key players along. Again, I am blessed to dually represent the United Athletes Foundation as a founding board member and The Gifted Education Foundation as a lead executive. Now, when you see the attached picture, most of you will recognize Ray Lewis or Reggie Howard. Both good friends of mine and deserving of the acclaim they have earned so this message is NOT at all intended to minimize their success. However, most of you will not recognize the guy standing to the left of Ray in the picture. Dr. Thomas Mensah is his name and Patent Owner of Fiber Optics is his title, among many other accomplishments. In case you dont know what this means, let me break it down for you: Broadband, High Resolution Imagery, High Definition Cable TV, etc. would not be possible without him. Yes, a person of color invented fiber optics! Moral of the Story: Lets remind our kids from low-income communities that they can be something other than an athlete, rapper or drug dealer. Lets teach our girls and people of color that they have the potential to change This guys earning potential and contributions to the world far surpasses 95% of the professional athletes and entertainers in the world! Next time you want to Google someone, try Dr. Thomas Mensah, not Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Nikki Menaj or Jay-Z! He is officially partnering with us to encourage Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Apple, etc. to raise the bar on diversifying their workforce. Want know the best way to stop a bullet? Educational and Life Empowerment!
