1. THE LAW IS NOT OF FAITH. … WHY? You cannot keep the law without faith. YOU cannot have faith in the law, in order to keep the law. Did you get that explanation or not? …. 2. SO, WHO DO YOU PUT YOUR FAITH TO BE ABLE TO KEEP THE LAW? …. In order to be able to keep the law, you must have faith in the ONE who made the law and kept the law. Who is that? JESUS CHRIST. You do not have faith in the law; YOU have faith in Jesus Christ and the law will be kept perfectly. Your faith must rest on Jesus Christ who can help you keep the law perfectly – (Jude 1:24; 1 Corinthians 10:13). The Bible says, “Here is the patience of the saints, here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of JESUS.” - (Revelation 14:12). 3. HOW DO PEOPLE MISINTERPRET THE TERM CALLED “THE LAW IS NOT OF FAITH????” These people think that Paul was against the Moral law of God. They failed to understand Pauls writings when he says, “the law is holy, just, and good.” - (Romans 7:12). The law is not of faith means, you cannot have faith in the law to keep it. The Pharisees did exactly, and they failed. Again, these people forgot that Paul also says, “The wages of breaking the law is eternal death” - (Romans 6:23). They are so contradicting. They take one text and make it contradict with another text in Pauls writings. 4. ABIDE IN CHRIST, AND THE LAW WILL BE KEPT PERFECTLY. The Bible says, “Whosoever abideth in God, sinneth not.” - 1 John 3:6, 9). Those whom Christ dwells within, the law is written within their hearts and they break not the law – (Jeremiah 31:33; Ezekiel 36:26; Hebrews 8:10). No person whom Christ abides, will continue to break Gods law – (1 John 3:9; John 15:4-5).
