1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Without trying to post my Sunday message from yesterday , I would like to bring out a segment of it for others whom it might help. The first word in this verse is IN and not FOR. we do not thank God for sickness or disease , nor for injustice. But even in bad times and in difficult situations we are to Be Thankful. In order to do this we may have to stop and count our Blessings and acknowledge God for who he is and what he has done. Being Thankful, having gratitude is a important and necessary component in a Christians life. So if your on a mountain top and everything is wonderful then Be THANKFUL and PRAISE GOD. But if your in a storm or going through a hard time right now, Be yet Thankful and Praise Him In Your Storm for It will pass. Happy Thanksgiving !! Be Careful while Traveling !
