Job Location :- Thane Role Description The responsibility of the Network Lead is to install, maintain, and trouble shoot network connectivity of the floors to the core. They are also responsible for administrating and monitoring the entire network. The network Lead is the single point of contact for Network support and escalation. Responsibilities o Managing all Network equipment and ensuring uptime o Making configuration changes to devices, if any o Administering TCP/IP addresses o Monitoring the network to determine capacity usage and escalate/ recommend necessary steps to organization. o Resolution of network faults within the time frame defined by the SLAs o Identifying LAN/WAN faults and resolving them through vendors providing maintenance services o Updating documentation of the LAN, like IP address register, PC IDs, Router configurations, hardware, network diagrams as and when changes happen. o Providing first level support for any network problems and troubleshooting the same in coordination with the vendor. o Generating monthly reports on various Network related calls and uptimes o Creation of external and internal networks o Planning, implementation, and configuration of monitoring and maintenance network hardware and telecommunications links, including routers, switches, IDS, load-balancing, etc for expansions of network o Implementation and maintenance of network architecture components for managed services, including OS installation hardening management, implementation and maintenance of network monitoring toolsets o Establish and maintain a redundant network operations environment, including substantial software and hardware fail-over; monitoring and testing the configuration performance o Manage proper testing of the network environment, including simulations, stress testing, and benchmarks for both preventive maintenance and reporting purposes o Implementation and maintenance with consistent improvement of network security measures o Ensuring no unauthorized access to either internal/external users o Installation of router switches and LAN /WAN equipment. o Provide timely feedback to management regarding issues affecting the quality of service to the client.
