1 woman a week murdered in Australia by a partner or ex partner. Attacks on women by partners and exs are increasing in the Hunter. Domestic violence- break the silence,it is hard for women to report this but essential if it is to stop, is the message we should follow. The NSW police have a new campaign to help victims, and counter domestic terrorism. It affects all aspects of ones life, and erodes the sense of self. Much better to report it, and stand up to this bullying before it impacts too greatly on ones whole being. Support the end of domestic violence, be brave and support women who have been through it and still are. There should be a way of reporting back incidents as well, and compensation for victims, which would be a way of changing this shocking and ugly way that men behave to the women they are supposedly closest to. theherald.au/story/2719489/the-terror-in-our-homes/
