1 year ago today, #Ingleside volunteers responded to #bushfires around the Sydney Basin. Our volunteers lead a 5 tanker #RFS Strike Team to Wingecaribee & both our tankers responded to assist with the Blue Mountains bushfires. Over the next 12 days, our Brigade supported other brigades up the coast and some 12 days in the Blue Mtns area. It was biggest ongoing campaign for Ingleside since the 1994 fires. What a difference a year makes with rain/snow in those same areas. Heres some short footage from last year with the Air Crane at work.
