10,000 People Pay Respect to Shin Hae Chul at Memorial Altar Including IU, Psy, SNSD, Yoo Jae Suk, Cho Yong Pil, and More With the sudden passing of a music legend, entertainment colleagues and fans visited the memorial altar of Shin Hae Chul. Shin Hae Chul passed away on October 27 at the age of 46 due to hypoxic-ischemic brain damage after heart issues put him into a coma for several days. He leaves behind a wife and two young children. His memorial altar was set up on October 28 at the Seoul Asan Medical Hospital Funeral Home for friends and families to pay their respects to Shin Hae Chul. Following the wishes of family, the memorial altar was later opened up to fans to see their singer for the last time. From October 28 to October 30, an estimate of 10,000 people have visited the memorial altar to send condolences. Some of the people include Psy, SNSD, IU, Cho Yong PIl, Chae Yeon, Lee Kwang Soo, Bada, Lee Juck, Yoon Sang, SISTAR’s Soyou, Junggigo, Madclown, Shinhwa’s Kim Dong Wan, JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong, DJ DOC, Insooni, Lee Seung Gi, Yoon Do Hyun, Epik High, Lim Chang Jung, Seo Taiji, Yoo Hee Yeol, g.o.d, and many more. Shin Hae Chul’s funeral will take place on October 31 with a Catholic mass.
