10-16-14 7:45 am The facts about Ebola, A man contracted Ebola overseas and traveled to the United States. Tragically he was dying in a Texas hospital. He was at his most contagious while showing the most severe symptoms, that is how Ebola works. A healthcare worker at the hospital got the virus from him. She is doing well, skyping with her family and friends under quarantine. The CDC had said, they expected more healthcare workers at that hospital to contract the virus, that has now happened. Before she showed symptoms, this is very important, she traveled to Cleveland and back to Dallas. She was not showing symptoms. Ebola virus is most contagious when the patient is showing symptoms. Given what we know, you should have no concerns about Ebola unless you have been contacted by a health care professional personally and told you of a possibility of exposure, fear not. Do not listen to the hysterical voices on the radio and television, they are doing it for the ratings. Take the readings, posts, and texts with a grain of salt, they are being irresponsible and inducing panic. You have to remember things are going to get political very fast. There is no evidence that leaders are lying to us. There is no Ebola outbreak in the United States. There is two healthcare workers that have the virus. It is very serious in Africa. We need to continue to be productive and the best thing you can do is get a Flu shot and pray for the affected families! Stop inducing panic. Stop finger pointing, blaming, and forecasting. If you are not going to be part of the solution, you are part of the problem. These counterproductive measures and worrying of an apocalypse are doing more harm than good.
