10/17/14 My United Kingdom tour with Trafalgar started today. Its travelers had to be in the hotel lobby to wait for our tour director Paul Fleming at &:00 am. Paul showed up and let his group to our coach. He checked each person and each name on the list before he let him or her get on his coach. He was very thorough and professional. Since I was a lonesome dove, I let everyone get on the coach. I was the last one getting into the coach and there was one vacant seat left for me to sit. It was beside an Asian guy who I believe was traveling by himself. As fate had placed us together, I guess I wasnt in the least surprised we now are buddies though we are worlds apart. The first attraction on our itinerary was of course Stratford-upon-Avon where our (I mean you and I and all) friend Willie Shakespeare used to reside. We spent a few hours there. We stopped at Anne Hathaways Cottage to take a group picture. Whats so interesting about Willies wifes cottage is that its thatched. We visited Willies house which has turned into the museum in his honor and since after all this there was some free time, I walked further away from the museum where there is a canal with houseboats and a park in front of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
