10/3/13 - Stoney is now in the SUPER URGENT album, and he is NOT safe. Stoney was 7 of 14 on NYACCs Kill List for 9/24/13. Stoney takes his time meeting new people, and the volunteers who got to know him, simply love him. Please read his boi, and share, to save his life tonight. "No, Stoney is not made of stone, he is a lively young man sporting a beautiful and shiny tiger brindle coat. He is healthy looking, the right weight and has just the perfect amount of muscles. He is welcoming in his kennel and walks quite well on the leash, eliminating as soon as we leave the building. He does seem to meet other dogs with a high tail but shies away from the boisterous ones. Stoney is a bit timid at first but lightens up when he sees my treats. He sits for them but takes them gently from my hand. He must have learned to play ball as he runs for it when I throw one and jumps in the air to catch it. Stoney likes to play with it and retrieves at times. After a small meal, Stoney comes to sit next to be and seems happy to receive caresses. A little lick on my hand shows me that he appreciates.... Stoney was found as a stray but is a well-groomed and friendly pooch who needs a family to love and a home to call his own."
