10/31/2014 Psycho escapes. Count . Recount. Count again. The numbers just arent right, so they run everyone in the prison back to their dorms for a roster count . You have to be on your bunk, show the guards your ID, and tell them your name and number. Normally thats done at 10 PM. Today theyre doing it at 2. Someones missing! As a matter of fact, its a guy on my wing: Psycho. Maybe he wasnt so crazy after all, or maybe he managed to pull it off bcuz hes crazy? I dunno, but the colonel himself -- who maybe out of a job -- came in and personally packed his property, so hes definitely gone. I wish I knew him well enough to cheer him on, but its hard to root for an escaped convict called Psycho. Know what I mean ? If they dont catch him quickly, well be on lock down a few days. As it is, we still havent lunch, and its almost 7 P.M. . Theres a good chance we wont eat but twice a day until we get off lock down. Well be lucky if we get to eat before 10. Its times like these when you need a locker full of canteen. At least Im used to entertaining myself in a cell . Twelve years in solitary will do that. Did this make the news where you live?
