It only happens in India, Where a Pay TV Channel is also showing Advertisements, Charging higher Subscription fee from subscribers and also charging a premium from advertisers for advertising on these Pay TV Channel(s) Advertisement revenue should only accrue to the FTA (Free to Air) and FTV (Free to View) Channel as they don’t charge any Subscription fee. Subscriber / Consumer time spent on watching the Pay TV Channel content after paying subscription is extremely valuable and cannot be wasted by undesired, unwanted advertising / commercials shown on these Pay TV Channels.
