10 December 2014 wed episode Mayita and Abuela are playing hide and seek. Estephania storms into her hotel room and Isa asks her how her little date went. She has been investigating the old guy and finds out he has lots of money. Estephania tells her to forget it and tells Isa that the police came to see her. JM is at Marichuys side asleep. She wakes up and calls out for Omar. JM leaves her side so that Omar can go to her. She keeps calling out his name, but he just stares at her. He finally grabs her hand, but still does not say anything. JM cries. Isa starts freaking out. I: What happened? What did they tell you? E: A police officer came for me. I: I told you. I told you! Its because of Marichuy right? E: Well, I supposes so. For what other reason? I: Did he not explain to you? Did you not ask him? E: No, of course not. How could I in front of the rucito. I pretended to be scared and surprised. I made him believe that it was not important that it had to be a mistake. You and I have to show up at the police station tomorrow at 11:00. I: Me? Why me? E: You and me. The both of us. Marichuy tells Omar that he needs to rest and not worry about her. Every time she wakes up he is by her side. (Omar should admit the truth, jerk) Ceci says to herself that the police suspect Estephania and they are probably right. She has always hated my daughter and caused me alot of pain when Marichuy lived here. How could she have gotten to the point of wanting to kill my daughter? Patricio says to himself that he does not want to believe it. How can Estephania be so destructive, have such bad intentions and a bad heart. But if they saw her then I hope that she gets the punishment she deserves. Abuela visits Mayita in her room and tells her a story about Hansel and Gretel. JM gets out of the shower and starts talking to himself in the mirror. He tells himself that he is an idiot. Last night you saw for yourself that all Marichuy wants and needs is Omar because she loves him. Not once has she called out for you. You know what, its best that you just forget about her. Just accept that the only thing that unites us is your son. (I would just like to say that the camera should have panned out just a little bit more so that we can see a little more skin. Im just saying...) Ceci asks Cande why she is not eating breakfast with them outside. Cande says that she doesnt want Patricio to give her a look saying how dare she come and eat with us. Ceci laughs and tells her not to think of her husband that way. Ceci tells her that she is here not as a servant, but a member of the family. Cande still does not want to. Ceci tells her that Patricio is changing. Last night when she came home, he was so happy playing with the baby. And when he saw her, he suddenly became serious. Cande tells her that Juanito can conquer anyone. There is no other baby so beautiful then he. Ceci tells her that she is taking the baby to Marichuy early today. Cande wants to come along. Ceci tells her of course, you are her mother too. Estephania and Isa walk into the police station. Estephania coaches her as what to say to the investigator. Patricio asks Ceci why Cande had tears in her eyes. Ceci says that she told Cande that she was also Marichuys mother. When Marichuy had no one, Cande took her in. Patricio asks if she will be going to the hospital today. Of course responds Ceci. He tells her that he will call her to find out if the eye specialist came. Ceci asks him is he not going to the hospital to visit? He tells her that he doesnt know when he can because he is going to be busy at the police station. He wants to be there when Estephania and Isa are interrogated. Estephania and Isa are shown into the investigators office and she introduces herself and Isa. She wants to know why they have interrupted her vacation. He will inform her as soon as Isa steps outside. Why questions Estephania she stay here. The investigator tells her that he wants to interrogate them separately. Estephania tells him that she in not in agreement. He tells her too bad. Isa says fine whatever you say and walks out. Estephania with both guns blazing tells the investigator that this is ridilous and when her father finds out how she is being treated... Theres a knock on the door and a police officer shows Patricio in. Estephania smiles at him and says Papa like he is going to save her. Marichuy is dreaming of JM kissing her and mutters out loud how much he misses him. She wonders why he has not come to see her and that she still loves him. Estephania tells Patricio that she is so glad that he came to defend her. They came to get me at the beach and are treating me like I am a criminal. Tell this man to leave me alone. Patricio tells her to sit down and that he did not come for her, but to be a witness in the interrogation. So do not look at me like a father, but as a judge. If you are innocent then the first person to absolve you will be me. Now sit down. The nurse tells Marichuy to wake up now that the eye specialist is here to see her. The investigator starts the interrogation and tells her that he will answer her question as to why she is here. It has to do with what happened at the theater to his daughter. But I am his daughter replies Estephania. The investigator says his legitimate daughter Maria de Jesus. Estephania pretends he doesnt know what he is talking about and starts questioning what happened. The investigator smiles and says dont tell me you dont know. Estephania claims she doesnt know whats going on. He tells her she should know since it has been in the news. She claims that she was on vacation and hasnt seen any news and turns to Patricio asking what happened. The investigator tells her that Marichuy was shot at twice. Estephania asks him who shot her. He tells her that the actor did. Estephania says okay, why? Was there a romance between them? Perhaps jealousy? The investigator says that they have investigated and believe that the actor is not the one that did it. The eye specialist comes in and asks her if she cannot see anything at all. She says nothing. He begins to examine her. (JM is in the room, but where is Omar?) Estephania asks then if the actor is innocent who is at fault. The investigator says the person who put live rounds in the gun. She asks who is that person. He tells her that they are trying to find out. And what would I know responds Estephania. I cannot tell you anything, because I dont know anything. Why did you make me come here. This must be a mistake. And whats with all this investigation if Marichuy is not dead. Patricio jumps on that and asks how do you know? If you claim you know nothing about what happened then how do you know shes not dead? Estephania is thinking oh crap! Patricio yells at her to answer. She tell him that when she came in they told her she got hurt, not that she died. Is she dead asks Estephania. The investigator tells her no and Patricio tells her that Marichuy is blind. The doctor asks her if she feels any sensation. Marichuy says no. Estephania says shes blind. The investigator tells her to tell him the truth. What part did you have in the plot to kill Marichuy? Blanca asks Balbina to help her put all her belongings in suitcases. Why asks Balbina. Blanca tells her that shes leaving the house. The doctor moves his hands in front of Marichuy and asks if she still does not see anything. No nothing she responds. He checks her eyes again with the little light. Estephania asks if he is accusing her of having something to do it. Yes, he responds. She tells him thats ridiculous. How can you accuse me if you have no proof? He tells her that he is not accusing her, just saying he has a suspicion. Estephania tries to plead with Patricio, but he tells her to tell the truth. It will be best for her. JM is walking in the hallway with the doctor. The doctor questions JM as to why JM did not want Marichuy to know that he was in the room during the examination. JM tells him that he did not want her to know that he was there. She was my wife, but know there is someone else. But that doesnt really matter that I am involved in all this. So what is your prognosis. Estephania and Patricio argue. She cannot believe that he thinks shes guilty and was brought here. Patricio tells her that they have to interrogate her. For something I did not do, replies Estephania. Exactly so they can find out if you did it or not. She tells him all this is hurting her and that he did not defend her when all this came up. He is her father. Patricio tells her that he wants to. She tells him then start by telling this guy that there is no way I am involved in this. Tell him to let me walk out of here immediately. The investigator tells her that she cannot leave until she has answered all his questions. Like what was she doing at the theater prior to leaving for vacation? The doctor tells JM that he believes there is inflammation around her eye. That the optic nerve is not damaged and that he can correct it. JM tells the doctor to keep him informed. The investigator asks Estephania what she was doing at the theater. She tells him that she was looking for Amador Robles, the director. He is a friend of mine. The investigator says that his assistant told you that he was not there. Apparently you left, but when the assistant left the area you came back. Why did you come back knowing that he was not there. Can you answer that for me. Yes, responds Estephania. I thought that she was lying to me. They say that you were at the table where the gun was. Why were you there? Mayita finds out from Balbina that Blanca will be leaving the house. Estephania tells him that it is a lie. The investigator says that two people saw her by the table. Who yells out Estephania. He tells her the assistant and the actor. She insists its a lie. He tells her that the assistant even said that she was asking about the gun and if it was being used for the play. Again she says its lies. Patricio tells Estephania its pointless to deny it. Just tell the truth. Why did you go back? Did you put the live ammo in the gun? Answer! Was it you? Mayita asks Blanca if its true that she is leaving. Blanca confirms it and says that she is not needed anymore. Shes a big girl and is well behaved. And now that she is not going to marry her dad, best to leave. Mayita asks her if her dad will be marrying Marichuy. Ceci and Cande have brought Juanmi, Jr to Marichuy. She is so happy feeling her baby. She says that she would not be able to see him grow, just feel it. She always wanted her eyes to be filled with his sight and now she has to imagine it all. Estephania says that she has not done anything. She has told them millions of times. If you think that I will confess to something that I did not do, then you are mistaken. You have no proof that it was me. I wasnt even here when this happened. Patricio says of course, now I understand. You wanted to go on vacation to have an alibi. I see it clearly now. Estephania tells them to believe what they want. She is not an idiot. I know that you guys cannot do anything to me. Nothing at all. Ceci asks if the eye doctor came to see her. She says yes he did. Ceci asks if he said anything to her. No nothing replies Marichuy. Who else was here, asks Ceci. No one, just the nurse answers Marichuy. Omar was here last night. Ceci says actually I was asking about JM. No, he has not come back. Adrian and Purita are on there honeymoon having a great time. Amador cant believe Marichuys blind. Omar asks JM what happened with the doctor. He tells Omar that the doctor said that the optic nerve he believes is not damaged. JM tells Omar that he should not tell Marichuy anything right now. Omar goes to leave, but JM stops him and says yesterday you asked me about Blanca. I just wanted to let you know that right now she is packing to leave my house. Estephania tells the investigator that Isa does not know anything about this. They call her in. Patricio tells Estephania that she cannot be in the room when they interrogate Isa. Isa walks in visably nervous. Estephania shakes her head. I wonder why. (Did it mean its not going so good or that Isa will not be able to handle the heat?) Patricio reminds Estephania to go wait outside. The investigator asks Isa to sit down. Ceci walks out of Marichuys room as Omar and JM walk up to the door. Omar goes in to see Marichuy and JM asks her if shes okay. She tells JM that Patricio has not called her. JM asks if he is working today. No, he is at the police station finding out who did this to Marichuy. Does the police know who did this, asks JM. Ceci tells him you will not believe it when I tell you. Its Estephania. Tomorrow: Omar and Blanca leaving together? Isa spills the beans.
