10 Most Powerful Dua’s in Islam According to Islam Dua is the act of request. It’s derived from an Arabic word means to “call out”. It’s an act in which we ask what we need from our God. Normally we perform this act 5 times a day after every prayer but there is no specific time bound for it. We can ask from Allah at any time but for the completion of what we ask in our Dua’s, we need to have a faith and belief in our God. God says in the Holy Quran: “And when My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I respond to the dua (prayer) of every suppliant when they calleth on Me” (Qur’an 2:186) Our holy Quran is full of Dua’s that are essential in Islam, some of them are: 1 Our Lord!
