10 REASONS WHY GOING TO THE #BUSH WOULD BY SUICIDAL AND IMPRACTICAL N TODAYS UGANDA: (youll never get this anywhere)...Enjoy I often hear people talking of going to the #bush these days whenever they have grievances with the current Regime. However, after careful analysis, I realized that this option is not viable anymore and that it would have only been possible in the days of NRA bush war! Even Y.K Museveni would not win a Bush war Today. Because; 1.Assuming I was the rebel who wanted to go to the bush. I highly doubt if even my closest friends would follow me. The able bodied youth of today who would help me win this war are too busy having fun in #panamera, Legends, De posh, Amnesia, Gabiro, mateos, Kisementi and De soldierz playing. Etc.. Convincing these energetic youth to go and sleep with #Mosquitoes, eat dry posho, roots, wild edible rats etc is not as easy as you may think. 2. Back then, I hear there was only club Earthquake 1-10 and Club La Quinta playing only Harry Belafontes Music, #Chico chimora, chaka chaka, the kind of music that could bore me and I feel I want to #shoot someone for no good reason. Today, we have serious music and dance strokes from Konshens, de marco, Jose Chameleon, Eddy Kenzo, Ziza Bafana etc. In fact, when you you are annoyed with someone and the DJ plays a lovely song like #Rihannas Diamonds in the Sky, you forgive the person immediately. But you play #Umqombothi or Ekibe Zankalewa, you will see. 3.Today, the energy needs have significantly increased due to the high population increase. Most of us are busy burning #charcoal in most of the bushes for cooking. Where do you want us to go or what do you want the people who are you are fighting for to use to cook when you invade the bushes? 4. The rate of deforestation in Uganda is 2% per annum. Meaning there will be no forests cover in uganda to hide in by 2050. The ADF can testify to this when they attempted to use Kibaale National Forest only discover that their heads and ribs could be clearly visible from a kilometre away by on-lookers who wondered if these rebels were really serious about being anonymity and privacy.. They had to escape to the heavily forested Congo after losing to a very weak UPDF then. How about today? Kony also had to relocate and hire services of a better bush, #Garamba. As for #Itongwa, we would even see him through the heavily encroached Mabira as we travelled to Jinja. 5.The Forests of today are guarded by heavily armed Uganda Wild life officials who even have RPGs unlike then. Practically, you would have to first defeat UWA as an independent Army before you can think of engaging the police. By the time UPDF comes, all your men will be wondering if their leader even went to primary school. 6.Back then in the 1980s, there was no google maps. These days, even a Nursery kid can Zoom out on an an i-pad and identify a unique camp site which was not there the previous day in any bush. 7.UWA has started using drones to monitor wild animal movement patterns and to spy on poachers. Then, there were no drones. Now, the drone will see you even before you start singing your modified version of the National anthem or ekitibwa kya buganda. 8.In Musevenis bush war times, match boxes and other goods were scarce because of few importers. Not these days, we have Krishna etc and KACITA is just causing an imbalance of Trade. Children of today just enjoy burning bushes for fun. Wild #fires keep cropping up daily caused by children. In fact, there is a 70% chance of a natural forest catching fire today than it was then. Do you want to be burned by the some young boy is playing around when the fire surrounds the whole bush? In the North, the locals in some village just burnt the whole forest and kony never returned. 9.To convince a human being to risk his\ life, there must exist a condition he or she is willing to DIE for to change that state. To convince a diversity of people to Join you in the bush to die, you must be able to amalgamate all their hopes into one VISION that will likely lead to them attaining their individual goals. BACK THEN: a)A multitude of Rwandese (Tutsis) Refugees who had suffered for decades and were willing to DO ANYTHING to return home. (A man will do anything to get back home). They thus contributed immensely. b)No sugar, salt, soap, match boxes, water, cooking oil, paraffin, soldiers looting the scarce possession and killing with impunity etc. (Without a basic need, a human would rather die than stay in that state) c)The baganda and banyoro needed their Kings and property back and no one was willing to allow this. They needed these for their pride and identity. (Without pride and identity, a man is worthless and rather dies) NOW: a)Rwanda is stable and the Tutsi are back to their homeland. There is no tribe in Uganda today that lacks a home who will fight under this scope. The only option would be to mobilize the Dinkas but they are on the side of the current government and are in charge of their home anyway. b)Sugar, salt, soap, match boxes etc are too cheap to even complain about. Even the poorest beggar eats fried rolex with these days c)The baganda and the Banyoro who think they got what were promised and are contented see no reason to fight. Their Kings are seated. Among them, there are those who think they were duped and got wings of white ants instead. These have been disappointed and cannot TRUST another person ever to take them to the bush to die for AIR.....therefore they are divided on this issue and will remain as such. 10. You cannot convince people who are addicted to Facebook, solitaire, snakes on Nokia etc to leave their Gadgets and start playing omweso, kwepena duulu, koi koi, in the bush. In fact, most of you who are reading this cannot leave without internet today. hehehehe......am sorry but that is the fact. Thanks for Reading Pat.A.K Mukuru II
