If your closet is bursting open and you have items that you forgot you even bought, some even with tags still on, then you’re a shopaholic. 3. Shopping gets in the way of hobbies or work. If you have given up things you used to love just to go shopping instead then you could have a serious problem. If you find yourself struggling to keep up with work deadlines because you always end up on shopping websites then you’re definitely a shopaholic. 4. You buy things “just because.” If you’re constantly making impulse purchases then you definitely have a problem.
