10 Signs of Strong Imaan and How to Continue Increasing It 1. Recognize and Repent. - And [saying], “Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him, [and] He will let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favor his favor. But if you turn away, then indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.-Surah Hud Verse 11:3 2. Perform Salah Regularly.- Rasulullah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The covenant between us and them is prayer, so if anyone abandons it he has become a disbeliever. 3. Qur’anic Recitations. - Abdullah bin Masud (R.A) narrates that The Messenger of Allah sallahu alaihi wasallam said: Whoever reads one letter of the Qur’an receives the reward of one good deed. And one good is multiplied ten times. 4. Engage in Dhikr.- O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembranceAnd exalt Him morning and afternoon.-Surah Al-‘Ahzab Verse 31:41-42 5. Voluntary Fasting.- 6. Carrying out Good deeds.- Abu Hurairah narrated that Allah’s Messenger said: Hasten to do good deeds before six things happen: the rising of the sun from the west, the smoke, the Dajjal, the beast and (the death) pg you or the general turmoil. 7. Remembering Death.- Every soul shall taste death. Allah has said in the Qur’an Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion..- Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam has said: The gift for a believer is death. 8. Gaining Knowledge.- Are those equal those who know and those who do not know? He who acquires knowledge acquires a vast portion and if anyone going on his way in search knowledge. Allah will thereby make easy for him the way of Paradise. 9. Making much Du’a (supplication).- Aisha radhiallaahu anha said: No believer makes Du’a and it is wasted. Either it is granted here in this world or desposited for him in the Hereafter as long as he does not get frustrated. 10. Having Trust in Allah.- Allah (subhananhu wa ta’ala) say: Nothing will happen to us expect What Allah has decreed for us: He is our protector and on Allah let the Believers put their trust.
