10 books that have stayed with you in some way. Dont think too - TopicsExpress

10 books that have stayed with you in some way. Dont think too hard. This might be easier if it were AUTHORS who have stayed with me, since once I find a book I love, I tend to devour everything else by that author. Thanks for tagging me, Meg Griffin. Here goes: 1. American Gods by Neil Gaiman (first Gaiman book I read) 2. Dark Tower Series by Stephen King (cant just pick one of the books) 3. Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett (a friend who found out I loved Gaiman recommended it, and it was my first introduction to Terry Pratchett) 4. The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien 5. Millennium Trilogy by Steig Larsson 6. Devil in the White City by Erik Larson 7. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams 8. Going Postal by Terry Pratchett (My first Discworld book - and now I have read all of them) 9. Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand 10. Naked by David Sedaris (first Sedaris book I read - and fell in love with him!) 11. I have to give an honorable mention to World Book Encyclopedias. I read every volume as a child. And I still cant part with my 1968 set that belonged to my family. (Tom loves that. If a physical book enters my house, it cant leave.) I could do this list a dozen times and not run out of ideas, but I guess thats not the point! Im tagging Debbie Rich, David Lee Burke, Judy Wray, Kent Dean, Wes Plate and Barbie Davis
