10 questions were asked to whosoever by shashikant sadaiv, the editor of the monthly magazine ‘sadhana path’, published by diamond pocket books from new delhi… for the ‘osho special’ issue, to be published in december. the first question was... how osho can be reached (made available) to each and every person? whosoever : has He reached the questioner? he hasn’t, because if He had reached, then this question would not rise. osho’s books or talks reaching anyone, is not osho’s reaching. if one disappears or annihilates by dissolving in the center of one’s own being, then he will reach osho – not only he will reach osho, he will become osho. osho is in every one, whether anyone knows or not. osho is not a person. ‘osho’ is simply a symbolical name of continuously present, omnipresent presence. a thing can be delivered, osho is not a thing. the very thought of making osho reachable to everyone/spreading osho to everyone… is an indication of ignorance. ‘it is a pleasant thought to please the mind, says ghalib’ the feeling of delivering/spreading osho to each and every one is a self-centered, ego-nurturing, self-gratifying feeling. osho can be spread – though not to everyone - but definitely to some chosen few… that too only when osho has reached the one who is spreading… and to whom he is to be delivered, is also ready for him. it will be better to say : a well surely pulls the thirsty towards itself… just like a magnet pulls the iron. the thought of spreading to each and every one gives birth to an organisation. organisations are based on goals. to achieve the goals, the organisations start becoming inhuman, and attracts opposition. as a result, the organisations adopt the way of violence. muslims want to spread islam to everyone and hindus want to spread hinduism. the result is in front of everyone. just having good intentions is not enough. mostly, good intentions always have catastrophic results. …answers to the next questions follows in the next post.
