What a difference a year makes! This time last year, Shannon was in ICU on a ventilator with a 50% chance of survival. He has had a tough year including severe pancreatitis, HUGE kidney stone, removal of spleen and part of pancreas, blood clots in both lungs, C diff colitis, two feeding tubes, numerous upper GI scopes, and much more.
