10 simple questions for our traditional Brothers & Sisters to ponder over (shared from Debra Migdad) (1) Did Muhammad send blessings on himself when he prayed? (2) Why dont you send blessings on ALL the prophets/messengers? (3) By sending blessings only on Muhammad and Abraham, arent you making distinctions between the messengers? (4) Why do you think you need hadith to explain the Quran, when God states in Quran it is complete and fully detailed? (5) Why do you say you need hadith to know how to pray, when there are no hadith that gives full explanation on how to pray? (6) How did the prophets/messengers before Muhammad know how to pray? (7) Were they doing it wrong since they didnt have hadith to explain it? (8) Why do you say you need hadith to explain how to properly make wudu, when it is clearly explained how in Quran? (9) Why do most Muslims say, we only follow hadith that is backed by Quran. If it contradicts Quran, it is not authentic and we dont follow it.? My question to that would then be, Then what is the point of hadith? Why do you even need it?
