10 years ago a princess was born I was blessed to be her mommy. The most beautiful and perfect little girl I have ever seen in my life. She looked like a porcelain doll, white with rosy cheeks and heart shaped lips with a hint of rose. Weighing 3 pounds and a length of 14 inches she was so perfect. Her arms were so tiny a see through like a jelly fish. My daughter is my hero, she has fought many struggles to survive and be in this world with me. She was born premature, my water bag ruptured at 21 weeks gestation and she was born at 29 weeks. With no amniotic fluid for 2 months her lungs didnt develop and she had multiple respiratory problems, she was born deaf and she didnt know how to suck. At age 4 she had ear surgery and at age 5 with speech therapy she began to learn to talk. When she was 4 she got sick with Kawasaki disease and lost mobility and with a fever of 106 we thought she wasnt going to make it. Kawasaki causes severe irreversible heart damage. She needed to have her heart checked for 25 years. 2 weeks ago we went to the cardiologist and were given the news that her heart is no longer at risk for any damage and is very strong and she can finally run and exercise and play with no worries of having a weak heart. Yay!! I am glad to say My princess is 10 today and she can hear better than a wolf, she speaks more than a parrot, and her lungs are good with just asthma but nothing severe. She is my miracle baby, my warrior, I am so blessed to have her in my life I have learned a lot from her.
