10 years ago in the summer was the absolutely worse time in my life. We uprooted our glorious life in Souderton PA and moved here to care for our aging parents. My mom as so sick and then my daddy was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. In July of 2004 for a couple that spent 60 years together only spent 12 days together. My mother then went in septic shock at Memorial while my Daddy was having a Whipple at WVU. Double Whammie, Nightmare.....whatever you call it was a living hell. Our hardships spiraled to the point where some people say to us, how did you do it? One right after another for 8 years. We had lost such great support from our former church in Lansdale as well as all of my wonderful Co-workers I honestly thought that we were never going to survive. The whole time G and I kept talking about all the things we wanted to do to our house/property. Now we are getting around to 10 years worth of projects and I am exhausted. I am so thankful for the people I have become dear friends with in this journey at my workplace, our dance moms and in our new church of Trinity Assembly of God-Midlothian. This weekend G and I will be singing celebrating 100 years of our church. Hope they sing, I wouldnt take nothing for my journey now, because Ill be singing it in my heart.
