10 years ago today I lost my sister to a senseless, cowardly act of violence Michelle Ginnish. Even though it seems like a long time ago, it still seems like yesterday, that aching pain I feel in my heart will never go away. I can hear your laugh, see your beautiful smile and think back of all the great times we had together. But instead of getting angry and sad like I used to, I try to stay positive and think of how you would like us to handle it. So today I am extremely happy to have my own family that I can lean on for support and know that she would be proud of me, for I have come a long way since that terrible day.
