1000 “THANK YOU” to Singapore Foudation Team of Sapa Hope Center…! Many thanks to short reported by Mrs Lily Lim s Singapore Foudation Team of Sapa Hope Center…! Day 3 - Visited Hope Sapa Center in the morning to distribute goodies, soft toys and warm clothings to the children. The Center was started by our team 2 years ago with the generous support of our donors. It provides education, food and lodging to the abandoned, poor and street kids in Sapa. In order to be able to do that, few rooms are being leased to backpackers for income for daily expenses. Many tourists who stayed at the Center not only helped in teaching English to the children, they also volunteered in building the new Center nearby. Peter Thuong is in charged of the Center and he has brought joy and hope to many children. We are so proud of him for managing it so well. The new Center he started recently is nearby and is mainly for the underprivileged kids in Sapa. It has its own vegetable farm and rooms for few homeless kids and an open area for the kids to study and play. After saying goodbye to the kids and volunteers at the Center, we went for hotpot lunch at Little Sapa. Special thanks to a nice family for treating us such delicious lunch. Left for Hanoi after that. Took us another 5hour drive back... Upon reaching Hanoi, we had a quick check-in followed by dinner at Ngon Restaurant, Hanois Newton Circus. Looking forward to a new day. We will be visiting Van Mon Lepers Home today which is 3 hour drive...
