Winds were out of the west/northwest around 10-15 mph. TONIGHT: Plan on another very cold night across our region this evening due to clear skies. Expect low temperatures to be in the upper teens to mid 20s with very calm winds tonight. THURSDAY: A warming trend begins for our region starting tomorrow. Look for another sunny day with high temperatures hovering around the low to mid 50s for your Thursday. LOOKING AHEAD: Thursday evening will be another clear and cold night for our area, with lows expected to be in the low to mid 20s. While still a little chilly, Friday looks to bring a beautiful, fall day to our region. Our Friday forecast includes abundant sunshine and temperatures ranging in the mid 50s. Some moisture will make its way into our region beginning Friday evening, bringing a possible rain shower or two with it. Be on the lookout for a stray shower Friday evening, with increasing cloud cover and low temperatures in the mid 30s otherwise. Saturday will be a great day to get out and see Virginia Techs last home football game of the season.
