Passed a trade test as Fitter and Turner (preferably Olifantsfontein) 5 years general fitting and turning experience 5 years mechanical maintenance• 5 years hydraulic, screw and eccentric presses experience 5 years hydraulic experience Must be able to work under pressure Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels Good fault finding and trouble shooting skills Be available for overtime, shift and standby Team Player Job Specification: PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To perform general maintenance to plant and equipment. REPORTING TO: Maintenance Superintendent/Supervisor Key Performance Areas: To ensure that all equipment’s are maintained and repaired to specifications of manufacturing. To maintain safe work procedures (monthly SHE inspection). To inspect, service, repair and overhaul Machinery and ensure that machines are kept in good running conditions. Updating the equipment register and plant/ spares information. Taking of stock of mechanical equipment. To assist electronic and electrical departments if and when required
