1030p 11/19 | Good evening Southwestern VA! TODAY: Clear and beautiful conditions were the story for our region today. High temperatures ranged in the mid to upper 40s with a north/northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. TONIGHT: We can look forward to partly cloudy skies across our region this evening, as lows will hover in the upper 20s to low 30s with calm winds out of the east around 5 mph as well. WEDNESDAY: Look for the pleasant, albeit a little chilly, conditions to continue into tomorrow. Expect a high temperature in the mid 40s to low 50s under mostly sunny skies for your Wednesday. LOOKING AHEAD: Plan on an increase in cloud cover Wednesday evening, with low temperatures in the lower to upper 30s and a calm, eastern wind around 5 mph as well. Our Thursday forecast includes temperatures approaching 50 degrees and mostly cloudy conditions. A stray rain shower is possible Thursday evening in areas primarily west of the Blue Ridge. Otherwise, expect lows to be in the upper 30s to low 40s under mostly cloudy skies Thursday night. Friday rounds off our work week with a slight chance of an afternoon rain shower.
