If memory serves me correctly... I woke up on a Saturday morning after a Pink Floyd concert on Moe Cullity pull out couch in his parents basement with a copy of the Toronto Star or perhaps its the Globe And Mail, thrust in my face like a place mat of doom.. On this day September 21st 1987 Jaco Pastorius died. He was one of the greatest musicians of the 20th century.. His impact has been felt all over the planet but young and old that have been inspired by not only his music but his philosophy on music.. I have chosen to pay homage to him by playing his version of Amerika on the day of his passing sending good energy his way and to the people of the United States that really need this right now..
