[11:01am, 27/01/2015] Emmanuel Rhema: Lazurus had died.Jesus had said his sickness was not unto death(John 11:4).That means Jesus said Lazurus wouldnt die,but he dies.Does it make Jesus a false prophet? How many times have you received a Word or prophecy,and it didnt come true? Jesus comes again and says,Lazurus is sleeping(John 11:11).What? Then He goes to the tomb of the sleeping man who had already been buried for four days.He was rotten!Was Jesus late? Martha complained that if Jesus had been there on time,Lazurus wouldnt have died.The people said the situation had already gone out of control. Then Jesus wept(John 11:35).He wasnt weeping for the demise of His friend, Lazurus,but for the unbelief of His people who should have believed in Him. Jesus goes to the tomb.He orders the stone to be rolled away.What was He going to do?We know that Jesus rose the dead,but He rose those who had their bodies intact,but this man was ROTTEN!He was beyond redemption.How many Christians will go to the cemetry to raise the dead?? Jesus calls out with a loud voice:Lazurus,come forth.(John 11:43). And Bible says,Lazurus came out!How possible?! A rotten man has no feet to walk.A rotten man has no eyes to see the opening of the tomb,but at that word:Come out!,Lazurus got feet and eyes and he came out. What rotten situation have you found yourself?What situation do you think it is beyond control?You look back and you think you have lost some years or some things?God is saying something can be done about it.He is looking for people of faith,who will stand in the face of rotten situations and say:Lazurus come out!Many people are yet to get to that level.But we have Faith.Faith is not only a feeling you have or a talent people have more than others.Faith is in the Word.Faith was encapsulated in the Gospel that we received.This means Faith is grounded on that rock-Jesus.If our Faith is based on Him and not on our own abilities,we can do ANYTHING in Christ who strengthens us(Philipians 4:13).Bible says, looking unto Jesus,the author and finisher of our Faith...(Hebrews 12:2).How do you look unto Jesus?By meditating on the scriptures,because Jesus is the Word(John 1:1).The miracles that Jesus performed,was not so that we could clap and shout Wow,but that we may believe. John 20:30-31 (NIV) 30Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. Romans 10:17(NIV) Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. As we continue to imbibe the Word,may our Faith be strong to command rotten situations for our good.Amen God bless you.Have a triumphant day.
