11/15/14 Late Night Update: Tonight our precious friend and first NICU nurse, Dani, (from Haleys very first procedure in late August) came to Haleys room AFTER clocking out from working a 12 hour day shift. She was there just to de-tangle and wash Haleys hair just because she loves Haley so much. Believe me, Haley had a hot mess on her head, so this was hard work! Dani was the first person to wash Haleys hair after the last craniotomy so it was extra special to us for her to do it again. What nurse do you know stays an extra hour or more after a 12 hour work day to love and care for a patient like this?! We continue to be blessed beyond all measure at the way people love my precious sister. I couldnt resist not capturing this moment to share with all of you. Thank you to Dani...words will never tell you just how much we love you. Haleys nausea seems to be under control now. She managed to keep some sherbet down this afternoon and maybe two saltines after that. She is still extremely confused. She has a strong case of the random rambles. I hope to see some more clarity in her tomorrow. For now, we will settle for no nausea and cleaner hair. Thats enough to send her off to bed with sweet dreams. Expect more good news tomorrow...we are on a mission to head for healing! -Lindsay
