11/21/13: Pastor Simmons I Peter 2:9-10 Who Are You? In life we wear many hats, mom, dad, cousin, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, employee, friend etc. The enemy is constantly trying to give us an identity crisis. We must always know who we are and most importantly whose we are. Whatever you go thru, be patient and remember who you are. Reading, studying and applying the word will give us the growth needed to do this. Some may not be able to read, those can hear it and it will be manifested in his spirit. You can only belong to either The Lord or the devil. The people of God are chosen, a royal person with many promises from God. The Lord called us the head not the tail, claim it. Dont let the enemy kill, still or destroy our spirit. We are people who rejoice, we have a different mindset. We are able to rejoice even in our hard times Why? Because we know who we are and who we belong to and already know God is with us and will never leave us alone. We all will have tribulations, by rejoicing in it, we are setting standards for others. We are the people of a bright and glorious future. We are here by the grace and mercy of God. Growing from a babe to a mature child of God continue to say THANK YOU LORD. Who are we, what are we made for? The only way to know is to read, study, pray, meditate and seek to do what The Lord has for us to do. Spread the word! Amen
