#11 From studying B and later pursuing Event Management to conceiving a Book Club and then finally, creating a cultural cafe ‘Fursat Se’, Amrita Bhasin is the dynamic Delhiite. Amrita Bhasin’s ‘Fursat Se’, offers a space for the ingenious which serves to encompass visionary artists and their exhibitions, poets and their poetry sessions, students who can relax and study, socialists , musicians, and theater lovers who want to organize theater workshops at nominal charges . “I try to offer a vast menu of culture, there is no food menu in my cafe.” Amrita brightly remarks. “We have also offered a safe and recreational space to all L.G.B.T in Delhi.” She adds. The essence of Delhi runs in her blood. She almost wants to dethrone the bothersome myth of Delhi being a city of the snobbish. She feels against the traditional tale of the granny; that one must always keep away from ‘over-friendly people’. “It is false is most cases”, she believes. Amrita admits that ‘Fursat Se’ is an extension of all the creativity, imagination, art and fancy which flourishes so naturally in Delhi.
