11 years ago today, after fifteen hours of hard labor, I brought into this world the most beautiful little boy I had ever laid eyes on. (I can say that cause Im his mama and it aint considered being biased) For nine months I carried him and for every day of those nine months I thanked God for such an unexpected miracle and I talked to him everyday and I played music for him (I tried singing to him but he would kick me... I guess it was his way of saying I love you mom, but please dont sing. I protected him with all that was in me and even risked my life for him once when I was 8 months pregnant. I knew that God didnt give me something so precious just because He didnt have anything better to do at the time. He was a gift. He was my gift. He was my gift from God. We have had our battles along the way and hes been a rotten snot at times, but hes my rotten snot. I dont think I could ever love him any more than I do right at that moment but then another day rolls around and I realize my love just keeps growing.
