11 years ago tomorrow was the worst day of my life. I will never forget answering the phone at work and a 911 operator telling me that I needed to go home immediately. Within minutes I learned that my first friend.... My best friend.... My brother was gone. The next several days are still very much a blur to me... I only remember bits and pieces. I am so thankful that Madison got to spend time with him although she was too young to remember. I wish Hunter could have known him.. They would have been great buddies. There is not a day that goes by that I dont miss him or wish I could just talk to him if only for a second. I have always believed that rays of sun coming thru the clouds are people in heaven letting us know they are ok and that they love us..
