11 years ago whilst feeding my baby i watched a documentary about female bodybuilding and thought to myself that one day id really like to give it a go but got to thinking that realistically i had no willpower where nutrition was concerned. After training as a PT , I took on various running challenges and ran a Marathon, no mean feat but it didnt quite fuel me as much as strength training does. therefore i set about the task of changing my eating habits slowly but surely so it became a lifestyle change and most of my old sugar addiction habits ceased to exist and i was able to stop endless days in the gym fat burning the previous nights chocolate cake away. My physique started to change dramatically , i felt better and was happy with how my body shape was changing from slim to strong and lean. I embarked on a journey with a view to compete in a physique show, for me it was a professional journey alongside a personal journey to improve low confidence issues that im sure most of us suffer with, i decided i no longer wanted to suffer in silence and tackle the wallflower inside of me and to make the powerful woman inside come out fighting. Miss Galaxy Universe was the show i decided to compete in. At times it has been hard with the clean eating , the training i love and i know i still have many areas for improvement , abs , shoulders and back !!! but on the whole im really pleased with what i bought to the show , the blood sweat and tears were all worth it in the end. Thanks to my parents for listening to my endless boring gym talk, my lovely kids that put up with my grumpy moods and to my Trainer Rob smith for his gruelling leg sessions and making me a better trainer. Thanks to Lowell Mason for his wicked Photography. thanks to my sis for help with t walk too x love to all hope you like my pics xx
