12/17/14 MS/HS ANNOUNCEMENTS: The next blood drive is this Thursday. Currently there are MANY time slots available to donate. If interested please see Mrs. Bonnigson in room 118 to sign up. Thank you to everyone who participated in the toy drive. We were able to donate over $916.00 to Project Share along with many new toys! Congratulations to Mr. Weyer’s 4th period class for bringing in the most donations with over $325.00 in cash and toys. They will receive cupcakes and ice cream on Friday. If any wrestlers would like to see the wick-away shirts from Screen Printing – stop in Mrs. Miller’s room today. They will also be at practice tonight. Drama Club and Improv group will meet Thursday, December 18 from 6-7 pm in the high school library. Hope to see you there! Friday Student Government will be sponsoring an “ugly sweater” day. For a $1 donation you can wear a hat. Don’t forget your canned goods this week!! Some teachers are collecting or you can bring them to Mrs. Miller’s room (201) by Friday. Please stop by the Lost and Found area just outside the cafeteria. There are many sweatshirts and other clothing items. Everything will be packed up by noon on Friday. Attention Yearbook Staff: We will meet today after school in Mrs. Weller’s room. All fully-edited Fall pages are due this Friday. High School Academic Challenge will meet tomorrow, (Thursday) afternoon in Mrs. Roan’s room. ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS: We are in need of people to help work the concession stand at the boy’s basketball games! Stop into the main office to sign up to help. We need 2 class officers and 3 other students. Each time you work, you get $5 off your prom ticket! Remember, the money we make at the concession stand goes towards the prom. So if you want to have a great prom this year, please sign up! Attention all students grades 9-12: The yearbook staff is in need of photos for the yearbook cover. If you are interested in appearing on the cover of the book, send a single or group selfie through the Jostens Replay It app on your smart phone. See Mrs. Weller or a yearbook staff member for instructions. Attention Freshman: Please sign up in the Main Office to help run the concession stand at the Girls Basketball Games! SENIORS: ATTENTION SENIOR STUDENTS: The Ohio State University Research Station in Fremont is looking for hardworking, energetic, and enthusiastic students, to work there this summer. The research that is conducted is regarding vegetable crop research. Research is also conducted on pesticide trails along with 15 acres of tomato breeding research. If you are interested in hearing more about this opportunity please see Mrs. Lott in the guidance office.
