12/25/14 UPDATE ON DONNA: For those who have been following these updates, Im sorry its been awhile but although we were blessed to get her home to La. , it still has been a very trying time. She is now at home after a few weeks in rehab facility, which in our opinion was pretty much useless. There was not much they could do since getting her here and finding out she still has about 9 fractures in both leg and wrist. She cant put any weight on either for at least 3 months and may have some permanent nerve damage to both. Nicole was able to get her into her ENT for the trach which will be capped Tuesday and reversed in a couple weeks. There was no scar damage and she is able to eat regular foods. We have appt. with her Neuro on the 2nd (appt. I need to ease my mind) and her Ortho in a couple weeks. Hopefully after these appts. well have more of an insight as to what comes next. She will be getting home health care soon and thank God for Joy, but her, myself and Nicole have to work (especially after missing so much) and Donna is just not at all comfortable to sleep alone. So anyone interested in sleeping over at such times, please contact Nicole. We have a baby monitoring system in place so its just in case she may need help and to ease her mind that someone is there. I know lots of you still continue to pray for her and we appreciate and thank you all for that. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Good Night.
