12:35 am on 8-19-14 a police officer responds to a radio call person with a gun, upon arrival Philadelphia Police immediately take on gunfire. Police officer in hospital suffering from graze wound to the head. 1. Police have one of the most dangerous jobs, yet we know this and dont complain. 2. Sometimes its hard to smile while on duty cause u never know who sees this as an opportunity to hurt u 3. We go through things the average person does not 4. We are heroes though some officers get caught up in dumb stuff 5. Have u ever ran n2 a burning building to save men, women And kids 6. Have u ever witnessed the smell of charred human flesh n hair of the ones u couldnt save with that smell being forever embedded in ur head 7. Have u ever talked a suicidal person down from a bridge/building 8. Have u ever had to put a dead body n2 a body bag and transport down the morgue 9. Have u ever had the funeral of an officer that died in the line of duty then look their families in the face and be at a loss for words Everybody that ever has anything negative to say about police.. Shut up!! U have no idea.... Guess what! Though u may not believe this, we are still human.
