A word of comfort, if like us you were ripped off with additional insurance for car hire on arrival in Orlando, we were there in Sept on a road trip, on collection from the car park Enterprise tried to scam us by offering a small compact instead of the Ford Focus booked. Many angry words later the manager gave in and agreed to give me a focus then we were asked to sign for insurance???, to cut the storey short car hire £230.00 for two weeks, which I thought had basic 3rd party cover, now was costing $35 per day extra! I didnt accept and was too tired and stressed to argue further, we drove off with no insurance according to them. After a nights sleep we got worried....what if? Back we went to local I Drive depot and added insurance. On arrival in the Uk after holiday I called customer service and after 11 emails they admitted 3rd party is included and they cannot let a hirer drive off without that min cover, now had a refund of £309.00! So its worth arguing if you know you have been scammed!
