We hope you all find our chess discussion group of interest. NOTE: Applications for membership to managers are generally processed during the day. To minimize labour however, new members are welcomed as a group sometime in the morning of the following day (AM in Toronto, Canada). When I am away, no one else can process them and so there can be acceptance delays of a number of days, but applicants can still view everything since this is an open group; they just have to await acceptance to post. We hope new members will take the time to SCROLL WAY DOWN to see the MANY and VARIED CPI chess posts/discussions (usually more than 30 chess topics per month). And if you enjoy the discussions, “Join your chess friends into the group (see on right side - “Add People to Group & a list of friends suggested to add). We always encourage all our CPI FB Group Members, new and old, to bring their chess friends into the group, to contribute to the chess debates. If it is not to their liking, they can just click on “leave group. Welcome aboard to the CCC - Chess Posts of Interest! We hope you all will become regular Posters/Commenters! We are now at 4,621 CPI FB Group Members from all over the world (our peak had been 4,609 and we have exceeded it!). If you have some chess friends you haven’t yet “joined” into this board, why not take a minute to join them now. We started 2014 with 1,234 CPI FB Group Members in this group. Our group grew at these phenomenal rates, on average: Jan. 1/14 to April 30/14 – during winter and early Spring - 14 NEW MEMBERS PER DAY! May - it slowed - on average, 6 new members/day – still a strong application rate. June 1 to August 31 – over the summer, the daily rate slowed to 4 new members/per day on average. Sept. 1 to Nov. 30 – in the Fall, the rate jumped back up to 10 NEW MEMBERS PER DAY! Dec./14 – we’ll see! CCC strives to make this the most interesting and active chess discussion board on Facebook! But CCC sees this as “Your Board” – it invites participation by all members. So, CPI FB Group Members, step up to the plate, and post and comment! Let’s keep the chess topics rolling in! CPI strongly advises new members to read the somewhat lengthy post that is pinned to the top of our wall, on posting policy and other CPI/CCC information.
