12 political workers arrested for capturing polling centre in Kupwara SRINAGAR -- Jammu and Kashmir Police Monday arrested a dozen political workers for capturing a polling centre and not allowing voters to cast vote at Devar Inderbugh in Lolab Kupwara. Police said at least 12 persons captured a polling booth at Inderbugh Lolab and did not allow voters to exercise their franchise. Acting on a complaint by a female voter who alleged that some people have captured booth and barred her from voting. We have registered a case vide FIR number 78/2014 under section 147, 354 RPC against twelve people, a police official said. Police said all the accused have political links. The accused have been identified as Manzoor Khan, Ghulam Ahmed Chopan, Fareed Khan, Irshad Khan, Aijaz Chopan, Azad Khan, Ishfaq Khan, Ghulam Rasool Chopan, Muhammad Maqbool Ganaie, Manzoor Khan, Syed Khan and Mudasir Ahmed, all residents of Inderbugh Devar Lolab
