12 things you may not know about my amazing husband David Bock: 1. He is passionate about what others are passionate about. Even if its sewing machines, hell shop with me, research the features, and get excited when he discovers something new (Look! This one has a laser!). 2. He can fall asleep in about 5 seconds flat. 3. He is fiercely protective of everyone he loves. God have mercy on any person who dares to hurt me or his mom. A backlash of atomic proportions will meet them, and probably a fist. 4. He is 6 tall, strong, and capable of being very intimidating. But a video of a kitten playing in a kleenex box will reduce him to giggles every time. 5. He can pack any car or suitcase like a Tetris master. 6. His favorite movies have explosions and his favorite books have kissing. 7. He is honest to a fault. Ask his opinion and he will never lie to you or give false praise. He says what he means and never makes you guess. 8. He thirsts for knowledge. He could spend an entire afternoon reading about freshwater eels or listen to a 3-hr lecture on the future of electric cars and absorb every word. 9. He loves to give. He rarely comes home from the store without something special for me, whether its salted caramels or a speaker for my iPad. And he will spend hours on the phone helping someone, whether its giving business advice or helping them decide on which sub-woofer to buy. 10. Hes the only person I know who truly does forgive and forget and never holds a grudge. 11. He is my favorite. My best friend, the one I can be stupid around, the one who makes me slow-dance with him in the middle of the day, the one who can always, always make me laugh. 12. Today is his 32nd birthday, and he will be doing one of the things I know he loves most, spending time with people he loves.
