13 THINGS I LEARNED IN 2013 1) change only happens when you take risks. 2) nothing is too small to ask God for help with. 4) being broke isnt always a choice, it just happens. 5) good friends are hard to come by, bad friends are hard to get rid of. 6) people with money and power communicate with money and influence. People without money and power communicate with love and honesty. 7) show mercy to others when ever possible. Never try to be the one pounding the nails into someones cross. 8) give out Halloween candy and put up Christmas decorations. But if you dont like your familys holiday traditions....change them to ones you do like. 9) be more patient. 10) be a do-er not a watch-er. 11) pay attention to the little signs that are out there. 12) its okay to be picky. 13) you have no control over your life. you can only control whether or not you accept what has happened, is happening and will happen. If you accept that you are not in control, its an awesome ride.
